“In August of 2011 my wife Donna and I celebrated our 25th anniversary at 31 North in McHenry, Illinois. About 45 guests attended and a good time was had by all. We cannot begin to thank Bernice and her staff at 31 North enough! Donna wanted a Hawaiian theme so the tables and chairs were covered with “vibrant” colors, quite impressive. We chose to have a buffet of hot and cold appetizers; everyone RAVED about the food, especially the “Colossal” shrimp!!! Even better, the leftovers were packed up for us to take home. Bernice recommended a bakery for our cake and a place for cupcakes; both turned out GREAT. Again, leftovers were packed up for us to share with our guests or to take home. We had an open bar with top shelf brands; no cheap imitations here. EVERYTHING was name brands, top quality!!! Donna and I cannot begin to thank the “whole staff” at 31 North for such a wonderful time. Friendly, efficient staff, everyone ready to serve your every need. Best compliment we can offer all of you is NO ONE LEFT EARLY. Bernice, THANKS FOR A GREAT PARTY; Donna and I will definitely see you when we decide to celebrate in the future.”

“There is so much to do when you lose a family member. It’s nice to have a place like 31 North available for the luncheon that follows the funeral. The room was amazing and well accommodating for our group. We only had 25 people and 31 North did a great job on making us feel welcomed. The food was delicious and every table I went too commented on how they enjoyed the meal and the presentation of the food.
